Hi Everyone!
It's been a while since I've used Genetica and this is the first time I'm getting to play with the text tool. I am curious if the text tool can curve the overall shape of the word such as in an arc? Also, is there a lock feature on the layers? I can't seem to find it easily.
Thanks!! New members can

Thanks to both of you for the help! I will have to play with the files when I get home from work!

There is not yet any lock feature in the Canvas node.

Alrighty, I've come up with another question for you all. Is there a good way to create a drop shadow effect for text? I believe this can be done with the styles, but not sure where to start. Thanks a million!

In the first example I selected the text and than edited the style. I chose the fill color effect and set the outer shadow to soft feather 3.
In the second example Ι chose the fill color effect and adjusted the shape thickness to 2 and soft feather to 3.
I hope this helps.

I love swimming but more than that I love Genetica!

MonsterMind is right. You can also look at the preset styles within the Edit Style dialog, many of which will have drop shadows.
