Can he flap his wings? Serious question actually - I've been studying it and don't see how this would be possible.

Free Transform nodes can be used to move individual parts, such as wiggling wings back and forth. The first animation in this thread is an example of that.

Yes, it is possible. At one point I was thinking of making the dragonfly flapping its wings. One has to move the wings into a separate Canvas and apply the motion there.
