Show off indeed... i do not know who is more obsessed with the wood workshop? you or i?... but you have to admit this can get addictive... right now i have over 200 non-wood textures and i plan on doing around 100 more with just the reference images on my PC... i hope the textures i provided helped - Desert Strata, Dry Lake Bed and the Igneous Stone files..... i dabbled in terragen as well... have been playing with it for many years now... in just a few months it will probably be the best terrain generator available... :o

hmmm... Don't recognise then name. So I don't know what you have done.

I do all my own stuff for TG, so I was looking for a good texture program; I have others but rearly get what I want out of them. So far the only thing I can't get for a texture out of WW is water and metal; no metalic sheen.

i know what you mean about metal and water... i tried doing a gold nugget this morning... wood workshop can not do reflection, refraction and specularity for water and metals... ofcourse i am sure you know that!... but genetica 1 and 2 does all of that.....

You highjacked my texture in the chipped plaster forum Nov 27th and i said i would provide a few more GTX files you could work on for your own presets on Dec 1st... don't know if you had checked that out yet?

I mean I don't recognsise the name from any of my TG forums or gallery sites.

Have you managed to do rounded rocks or tiles with turned up edges. I'm still working on these two. WW needs a convex/concave surface setting for it's tiles.

In the Bevel section, try playing with the Curve property. That should do what you want.

nope, I need to be able to dome or depress the center of the cell to get the effect I want. Curve only seems to effect the roundness of the edge. But I'll play around with the bevel settings some more.

my dry earth. ok, but not quite good enough.

Well messed around with the bevel controles and got some nice 3d rocks. But it is quite apparent that I will not be able to get round rocks out of it. Hay it's not Rock workshop.....hmmm.... no I want water workshop and or metal workshop. Ya I know I need genetica, I guess I could always ask Santa.

Ok, I understand better what you want now. If you switch to Genetica 2 when it comes out I will be happy to help you achieve this effect, but I do not think it's possible with the Wood Workshop.
