More renders and video here.

Whilst this doesn't use Genetica, it does use procedural methods to make a 1x1 or 2x2 meter scan useable for surfaces around 6 meters, and making them seamless.

Motion vectors

09 October 2017 - 12:50 AM

How would you go about creating motion vectors for a flipbook animation? For animated raindrops, the waves would be faster, and the areas around it would be slower. So if i have a heightmap for the drops (since im converting that to a normal map) Would simply blending between green for the waves, and red for stagnant areas work?

Using Genetica with Megascans.

04 August 2017 - 01:51 AM

Genetica is proving itself very useful for increasing the variation and scale of Megascans resources. They usually come in 1x1 or 2x2 meters, and with Genetica's sybthesis you can increase the size quite a bit, and have it randomly rotated to prevent obvious tiling.
