Hi guys! I was thinking, the synthesis node and the uv texture node have some similarities, I think the uv texture node could use some of the features. Like the patch scale and angle options would be neat, so you can align bark on a tree etc, so it won't have patches at an odd angle.

Have you tried the Orientation property of the UV Multi Project node? That should change the angle.
