Hi,
I encountered another bug, when using 2 3d models (one tree trunk, and a leaves mesh), Genetica messes up the transparency for the leaves. I apply a texture with transparency on the leaves (which consist of simple planes), but it renders it with only the front facing planes textured i think. There is no option to set the model to 2 sided in Genetica that I know of.
I'm using (well, wanting to use) Genetica to render high quality shaded renders with transparency for foliage for a commercial project, and I haven't found other programs that can do this this way (Genetica offers a great quality since except for the bug, the renders are really good).
This is as seen in my editor, a test tree that shows the leaves as i want them to be.
This is the Genetica render, whilst the shading and texture are as i want them to be, the leaves aren't all rendered.
I can mail the GTX if needed, including the testing models.
