I sent an email to Atlas for an explanation.

This workaround may help until we are able to implement a proper copy/paste feature:

1. Save the style as a temporary preset.

Copy_2.JPG

2. Select "Merge With Style" and select the preset that was just created.

Copy_3.JPG

3. This results in the style being merged with itself. In other words, all layers within the style are duplicated.

Of course, in a multi-layer style this workaround will result in all layers being duplicated, so you must then delete the layers that you didn't want copied. But again this is just a workaround until a proper function is implemented.

Yes, now I remember. One can merge two styles and delete the elements that are not needed. I should experiment with this.

I actually asked for this a while back, i have long known about the merge feature although i have always thought it needs a standard copy/paste system so i am looking forward to this feature. :)

Hehe i notice it's in the first post of the giant ideas thread -

When editing styles it would be great if we could copy and paste layers

http://www.spiralfor...?showtopic=8774

Hopefully other people will bump the other good idea also :whistling: :)

Edit -

Great styles Funkdude, that could make a nice marble or jade style stone with a few modifications also. :D

Copying noises was another thing i have asked for so that gets my +1 vote also  I think my suggestion was something like a global send/receive matrix or to make the noise lab like how you make styles with layers, more features and a similar setup so you can just save all the noises to a folder like you would a style and re-use them everywhere you can use a noise for something, both would be amazing to have in my opinion.

You are master of the style lab! Is always a pleasure to see what you make and apply it to shapes. I cant wait for the text in the canvas lab, many styles you made could be awesome logo's when applied on text or symbols. (Dafont might be visited alot more when the update goes live  )
