Thanks guys!

 

Been tweeking it a bit:  I've popped the flowers out from the center (not sure I used the best way to do that, but it was the only way I could figure out) instead of fading them in, masked out the initial bits of the fractal growth, and replaced the base fabric.  But I think this needs at least 1024x1024 resolution, 128 frames, and a frame rate of 16 to look its best -- I may have gone a bit overboard.  Anyway, latest version and a still attached.
