Kinda looks liek flake pain too

Im getting very interested in terragen now haha, can it use multiple heightmaps? or fractal detail for up close? if a detail map, courser detail map and a large heightmap cn be used in conjunction loads of possibilities open up (game grade terrain with the finest detail in a normalmap is feasible these days)

Yes, Terragen 2 can use as many height maps as you want. Fractal shaders can be blended and detailed in many ways. You can mix rasterized images with procedurals for just about anything, masking many types of node based shaders, colors, displacements along all axis', and so on. Since it is all nodal, there are many possibilities.
