Hi,

Thank you for this useful tutorial :)

I have a question though, i'm really a noob with Genetica , but.. how would you do the same with an imported image please?? Like, making a beautiful Fractal like this from an imported image?

Thank you in advance

Hey! Its been a while, but what you could do is replace the noise (first node) with your imported image (make sure its square, or set the imported image node to "force square ratio").

Cheers!

Thank you Funkdude , i tried like you said but it does not give the awesome result you had with your tutorial :P Instead it's just noise all over :/  By the way, i hope you'll make other tutorials, i find that for a complete noob like me, the tutorials are not enough complete :(

I see beautiful abstract animations (that's what i want to do actually) on this forum and i have NO IDEA how to come to these results, even when i open the gtx files into Genetica :/  I would need a step by step tutorial , like you did

Thank you again

Have a nice day

Hi!

No problem.

Its not very likely ill make more Genetica tutorials, but on my blog there are some more gtx files you can examine. I learned most just by trial and error, and from others work on the forum. In fact, without this forum i wouldnt be where i am today :).

Cheers!
