Can you texture your own room in second life? grtz

Not only can you texture it - you can build it first  Absolutely everything in SL was built by the residents. I spend my life making textures for builders to use. Don't know if you can see the flower in the pic but I made that with Genetica texturing too.

Hi people - a very happy May Day to you all from my lovely new Zen Room in Second Life. I can just feel the stress melting away.......... :)

Nice! It's too bad Second Life doesn't support Windows Vista yet, otherwise I'd totally stop by to check it out.

This illusion is embarrassingly simple. Shimmering dark areas will appear in the intersections, even though the intersections are perfectly white.

I just had a look at Illusion_2 and noticed the way you used the scale to control the amount of distortion. This is much better than sticking an change BCI between the pattern and the distort amount input. Learn something new every day. Cool. :) :toy:

I'm not surprised you missed it. "Size" is a pretty unintuitive name for that control--don't know what we were thinking. Ah, the blissful ignorant days of Genetica 1.0 . . .

Here is another optical illusion. The center appears to be moving:

Wow, that last one is really impressive. :D Rarely have I seen an optical illusion that seems to move so much. My first impression was that it was animated!

:D

Yes, I also debated whether I should post this texture under "Illusions" or animation.
