Someone challenged me to make one of those optical illusions that appear to move.

It's seamless, so if you really want to trip out you can set it as your Windows background on repeat. :)

Hehe. You should've seen how dizzy I was by the time I finished designing it. Some of the intermediate steps were real headache-inducers. :)

I'm glad everyone liked it. :)

This next one isn't as exciting, but when I ran across the original version on the web I was curious to figure out how to put together all those curvy radial lines in Genetica.

If you stare at the center-point for a minute it's supposed to start shimmering. Witchcraft I say!

Here's one final optical illusion that I decided to try. The blue lines are all perfectly straight and horizontal, but don't appear to be.

This is a classic optical illusion, but my version is seamless. I know there are a few Second Life players on this forum--I wonder if anyone in Second Life has ever made a wacky house where the walls are covered with dizzying optical illusions instead of traditional textures.

When I was a kid we used to call those "Eyebusters".

I think I'm going to hold off on setting my computer background to one of those.

Hmm, but that could make a funny prank to play on someone though. If anyone feels up to the challenge, feel free to post the most annoying Genetica-generated Windows wallpaper ever!
